It has been a year since we last updated the website and what a busy year it has been! I completed my Masters in McTimoney Animal Manipulation at the end of last year, in which I investigated potential confounding factors which may affect pelvic symmetry in the horse. I have continued to tutor and examine for the McTimoney College, alongside my teaching on the animal massage courses and providing my animal therapy business to many clients in the South West. I am surprised I managed to fit in working the horses at home but somehow it all came together, and I was featured on the BBC1 Countryfile programme helping to train reporter Adam Henson for the ultimate in british Endurance rides, The Golden Horseshoe. Unfortunately Adam was vetted out at the start of day 2 of his 80km class. Fortune favoured my horse in the 160km (100mile) Golden Horseshoe class and we completed the distance, winning a Silver award and Best Local Competitor - not bad as the horse was not a typical endurance Arab but an Irish Draught cross! The animal massage and saddle fitting courses continue to be popular, with students enrolling every month and good feedback from those qualifying at the end of the courses. The easy-to-follow horseowners massage booklet has been popular too, and I would also like to do the same with a dogowners massage booklet in the near future, so watch this space!
